Severe thunderstorms hit the southern part of the province on Wednesday, sparking numerous fires and Environment Canada warned of more storms approaching.

The BC Wildfire Service website shows spotfires caused by Wednesday's lightning strikes scattered across coastal, Kamloops, Southeast and Caribou fire centers, and on Vancouver Island.
