Nathaniel Marksman of Mississauga wins $1 million in first lottery ticket
A 24-year-old toy store employee won a MaxMillions prize worth $1 million in June's Lotto Max draw.
"When I was checking my ticket at the store, it showed all zeros, so I thought the machine was broken. I was shocked and stunned, but I got in the car and burst into tears of joy," Marksman said, adding that his first call about winning was to his brother. 33}
"He was laughing and shocked because it was my first time playing and I won. I am the top of the world." has been shared with his brother, helped his mother with a mortgage, and said he plans to spend some on his nieces and nephews.
"I feel like I have a chance at a better life," he said.
