Holiday parade in Dollard

Dollard hosts its magical parade on Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, rain or shine.

The magical holiday parade hosted by Dollard-des-Ormeaux rolls out on Sunday, Dec. 4.

Starting at 10 a.m. at the Civic Centre, floats will ride through Dollard, accompanied by Santa Claus. Elves will collect children’s letters addressed to Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, Canada. (No stamp required, but don’t forget to write a return address to receive a response.)

The city will be collecting non-perishable food items for the West Island Assistance Fund. The Roxboro-based charity organization operates a thrift store and a food bank to help West Islanders in need.

The parade will follow a route from the Civic Centre towards Hyman Blvd, around to Westpark Ave., up to Anselme-Lavigne Ave., then pass along Fredmir St. and Lake St. before ending on De Salaberry Blvd. around 1 p.m.
