Housing rally underway in Halifax, one year after forced eviction from park

A rally for housing rights is taking place in downtown Halifax. He is the same place a year ago when the city police forcibly evicted the homeless living in the encampment.

The march and rally began at 5:00 pm. In front of the Old Library near Spring Garden Road. Hosted by

Halifax Mutual Aid,Out of the Cold Shelter and P.A.D.S. (Permanent, accessible, dignified and safe housing for all).
