KFL&A Public Health catches up with school vaccinations

Over the past two years, theCOVID-19 pandemic has delayed mandatory school vaccinations.

Public health departments across the state are now catching up on these immunizations.

KFL&A region's mandatory vaccination coverage has fallen to approximately 80% at its lowest point.

But now the health sector is catching up to pre-pandemic levels.

"Our catch-up efforts in his clinic have brought us closer to 90% coverage," said Brian, Manager of the Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Team at KFL&A Public Health. Larkin says.
