Rescue teams continue to search the waters of Lake Erie Missing boater found Tuesday in Port Burwell I left Marina in the afternoon and didn't come back.
Ontario Police said the sailor left the marina around 2:00 pm. A white-coloured 21-foot striper with a black canopy that was expected to return that night, but did not.
Paramedics were notified at approximately 11:38 PM. It was discovered by the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) in CFB Trenton, police said.
Members of the JRCC, along with the Canadian Coast Guard, the US Coast Guard and state police, searched the area overnight and resumed the search Wednesday morning, police said.
OPP's Air Service, Marines, Byham Fire and Emergency Services, and Elgin County EMS were also involved in the search operation.

statement, Maj. Port and a rescue party, including a Hercules plane and a Griffon helicopter, were involved in the search.
Three OPP boats, a Port Burwell Fire Department boat, a Canadian Coast Guard vessel and a Coast Guard auxiliary vessel were also involved, he said, adding that a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter assisted in the search. . late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
