A 23-year-old man was stabbed early Friday during an altercation on St-Laurent Blvd. in the Plateau-Mont-Royal district.
The incident occurred at 12:40 a.m. near the corner of Prince-Arthur St. and the victim is expected to recover from his injuries, Montreal police said.

According to witnesses, the victim was involved in an altercation with several people, during which he was stabbed in the upper body. The victim’s attackers fled before police got there.
Police expect to question the victim later in the day.
