Montreal weather: We interrupt fall for this special message

A wind warning is in effect for the Montreal area.

Good morning, Montreal, here’s a warning for you: Winds could reach 90 kilometres per hour this evening, Environment Canada says.

The federal meteorological agency warns of the possibility of downed tree branches and power outages. The warning covers the Montreal, Laval and Longueuil areas. Wind and rain warnings cover sections of southern Quebec, while farther north blizzard warnings reign.
