The City of Regions of Queens has revoked a permit to develop a seaside property under construction by former Halifax mayor Peter Kelly.
Kelly and Diana Gilard co-owned a property on 112 Eaglehead Road, and development was built past the highest water mark on Eaglehead Beach.

Some residents of the area opposed the developmentthat began in mid-June,poses a risk to wetlands and wildlife, and the general public is on the beach. It states that it has blocked the sidewalk used to go to.
In late June, Kelly was fined $ 687.50 for changing the property's waterways by partially filling the pond to widen the road.
