No injuries were reported from a commercial garage fire in the southeast section of the city on Saturday.
Ottawa Fire Services reported that the owner of the business on Leitrim Road, between Hawthorne and Ramsayville roads, had reported the blaze in a 911 call on Saturday afternoon.

Because of the nature of the fire and propane tanks that were discharging onsite, a defensive attack was employed to battle the flames, and the fire was declared under control at 4:49 p.m.
The structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire, a media release said.
An Ottawa Fire Services investigator was dispatched to the scene to determine the cause.
