The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Boardused its interrupter clause to reduce gasoline and diesel prices overnight.
As of Thursday, gas in the state has decreased by 10.5 cents.
"This change is necessary due to the significant fluctuations in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil,"NSUARBsaid in a Wednesday afternoon release.
This happens after the price has exceeded $ 2 for two months and more recently about $ 2.03. Prices reached record highs in June, surpassing at least $ 2.15 per liter.

Nova Scottish people now pay a minimum of 1.93 cents per liter for regular self-service gasoline.

The state last invoked the petrol obstruction clause on June 21, reducing prices by 6 cents. Prior to that, it was used to raise the price by 9.5 cents on May 17th.

Diesel costs also fell 10.2 cents from 204.7 cents per liter on Thursday.
Diesel prices ranged from $ 1.94 per liter in the Harifax region and at least $ 1.99 per liter in Cape Breton.
