I put out the fire.
Several people called 911 shortly after 8:00 a.m., claiming that his Reported smoke and flames coming from the garage attached to the two-story house.
The Ottawa fire brigade arrived at the scene at 8:11 am, according to an OFS media release. After confirming that smoke and flames were coming out of the garage, they started extinguishing the fire.
The fire he was declared under in less than ten minutes. Firefighters searched the house and found no one inside. The fire did not spread to the attic or the eaves above the garage.
"A combination of quick response and quick strikes kept the fire contained in the garage and did not spread to the house," said a media release.
There were no injuries and fire investigators were dispatched to the scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
