Two people were killed in an overnight crash and a mother and baby were sent to the hospital: police

Brampton, Ontario. — An overnight clash killed two people and sent a mother and baby to the hospital.

Peel Regional Police said police responded to a collision between two vehicles on Sunday at around 12:40 am in southwestern Brampton, Ontario.

They say a 20-year-old passenger was thrown out of the car and declared dead at the scene, but the driver of the car was arrested for drunk driving.

Police say the family is in another car and her mother is taken to a hospital where she is said to be in crisis.

Police said the baby girl was sent to the hospital with her father, who later tweeted that they were both "ok."

Police say two vehicles collided at the western end of Mississauga about two hours ago, killing one.
