A Peel County Police Departmentofficer has been charged with issuing threats, police say.
In his press release on Thursday, police said he had charged the 22-year-old member after a five-month investigation.
Police said Thursday that Det. Constant João Moco was arrested.

He He was indicted on one count of threatening remarks.
Police said officers were off duty at the time of the incident.
According to officers, Moco plans to appear in court in Brampton in October.
"Once criminal proceedings are completed, an investigation into the Police Services Act will begin," police said.
