Peterborough Police arrested two driving disorder on Wednesday night.
In the first incident around 8:00 pm, officers from thePeterborough Police Departmentkilled a disabled driver from theCavan Monaghan TownshipFire Department. I answered a call regarding the suspicion of Firefighters responded to reports of vehicles in ditches in the area of County Route 10 and the Lamer Line.
Officers determined the driver was disabled.

53-year-old Peterborough County man arrested and charged with two counts of driving disorder (alcohol and blood alcohol level 80 plus).
Defendant was ordered to suspend his driver's license for 90 days and seize his vehicle for 7 days.

Arrested in town
10:00 PM Around 15 minutes, officers responded to a report from a concerned driver about a suspected driver with a disability.
Police located the suspect's vehicle and implemented a traffic stop in the area of Brealy Drive and Sherbrooke Street. Officers determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
A 40-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested and charged with two counts of driving impairment (alcohol and blood alcohol level 80 plus).
His driver's license was suspended for his 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for his 7 days.
In both cases, the defendants were released on summons and are expected to appear in court in Peterborough on Sept. 7, police said Thursday.
