Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs, J.T. Realmute hit a home run and drove in three runs, with host Philadelphia Phillies defeating the Washington Nationals 11-0 on Tuesday.
Alec Bohm added 2 RBIs and 3 RBIs, and Nick Castellanos added 2 RBIs and 2 RBIs.
Da Rick Hall also provided three RBIs and RBIs to the Phillies, who won four of the last five.
Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez (1-1) threw five scoreless innings and gave up two hits. He hit two and walked two.
The Nationals hit only three times in the game.
Washington starter Paolo Espino (0-2) allowed only 3 2/3 innings, 6 hits and 4 runs, 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.
When Schwarber started a lead-off solo homer to the center fielder, the Phillies advanced 1-0 at the end of the first inning.
Schwarber's second home run, this time the third two outs, gave the Phillies a 2-0 advantage. It was Schwarber's 25th home run of the season and his 18th multi-home run performance.
Phillies hit a total of 13 hits.
The second Ehire Adrianza single was only a Nationals hit in the first four innings.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Phillies led 3-0 when Realmuto raised a deep sacrifice fly to the center to score Castellanos. Baume added a RBI single and the lead was extended to 4-0.
Realmuto hit a fifth two-run home run to the right to give Philadelphia a strong edge of six runs.
When Castellanos grouped a two-run single to the right and Hall added an RBI base hit, the Phillies extended the lead to 9-0 for the sixth time. Baume followed Philadelphia's scoring cap with a two-run single.
Washington's Relief Reed Garrett was lit up with 4 hits and 5 runs in 6 2/3 innings.
Infielder Arcides Escobar threw an unscored eighth place for the Nationals.
