Detroit Pistons signed a deal with former Purdue Guard Jaden Ivey on Saturday. The
team did not reveal the terms and conditions of Ivey, the fifth-chosen NBA Draft in 2022.
20-year-old Ivy introduces himself by throwing an opening ceremony at Comerica Park on Saturday afternoon before the Detroit Tigers play against the Kansas City Royals.
The 6'4 ivy won the second team All-America honor last season with an average of 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per boilermaker game.
Ivey led Purdue to a record of 29-8, highlighting Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament.
He created the Big Ten All Freshman Team in 2020-21 after averaging 11.1 points per game.
