Police seek witnesses in Richmond Hill shooting

York Regional Police are looking for witnesses after a shooting in Richmond Hill.

On Saturday, at 12:30 a.m., police responded after a male was shot in his driveway in the area of Boiton St. and Hewison Ave.

When police arrived they located a 28-year-old man who had been shot several times while in his vehicle.

The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but is now in stable condition.

Police say this incident was isolated and there is no threat to public safety.

The investigation is ongoing.
