Center Kebon Rooney has returned to the Golden State Warriors with a $ 25.5 million deal for three years, ESPN reported Friday.
Rooney, 26, played all 82 games (starting 80 games) last season, averaging 6.0 points and 7.3 rebounds with 57.1% shots from the field.
He is about to finish his third championship with the Warriors after averaging 5.0 points and 7.5 boards in the 2022 NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics.
6ft 9 Rooney spent his entire career at the Warriors, averaging 4.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 367 games (150 starts) in seven seasons. Golden State drafted him in the first round of 2015 (30th overall).
