Saint John Police Investigate Murder of 39-Year-Old Man in Apartment

St. John Police said they were investigating themurder after a man was stabbed to death in his apartment Wednesday afternoon. I'm here.

In a release, police said officers responded to a stabbing incident at a residence on Charles Street in St. John shortly before 4 p.m.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim, his 39-year-old Justin Blow, after his three men, dressed in black and wearing unidentified masks, broke into his apartment.

The suspect escaped on foot towards Garden Street.

"The St. John Police Forensic Identification Service and Major Crimes Unit are investigating. No arrests have been made," the release said.

Police remained at the scene and said a search and investigation was ongoing in the Charles, Garden, Hazen and Coburg Street areas.

Investigators sent cell phone photos or From 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Evidence can be submitted to the police orusing the online portal.

Blow was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Mark Shatford in 2020, but was later acquitted, according to media reports.
