Three alleged members still at large

On Tuesday, Assistant Commissioner Manny Mann, commander of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, said the Wolfpack had been “at the centre of violence and drug trafficking for over two decades.”

Mann said these most recent charges laid against the gang involved targeting highly vulnerable people who use drugs.
Since 2012, more than 12,000 people have died in B.C. from drugs contaminated mostly with fentanyl — which is used by drug dealers to add to drugs like cocaine, MDMA, heroin and methamphetamine in order to make more money from buyers.
Mann said several Vancouver locations were searched during the investigation into the alleged drug trafficking ring and 10 kg of fentanyl was seized, as well as 72 kg of products like phenacetin and caffeine that are also cut into drugs.
The investigation began in July 2020 and the searches were conducted between October 2020 and May 2021.
Authorities also seized three kilograms of cocaine, six kilograms of methamphetamine, six unlicensed firearms, over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, three vehicles and $160,000 in cash.
Charges against the six men include commission of an offence for a criminal organization, trafficking and possession of a restricted firearm.
Charged are Joseph Ebert Charles Lowley, 39, Vinod Kanna Aruldevarajan, 27, Roger Alfredo Bardales Medina, 30, Hemen Hewa Saed, 30, Diego Maradona Saed, 23 and Howjeen Saed, 27.
Diego Maradona Saed, Joseph Ebert Charles Lowley and Roger Alfredo Bardales Medina remain at large.
