The Dallas Stars and goalkeeper Scott Wedgewood have agreed to extend their contract for two years on Thursday.

Wedgwood, 29, plans to be the star's second choice after Jake Otti.

He arrived in Dallas in March by trading with Arizona Coyote. He saw the action in 7 to 8 games and got an ERA of .913 and an ERA of 3.05 to 3-1-3.

At the NHL level, Wedgwood played two stints in New Jersey Devils (2015-16, 2020-21) and two stints in Coyotes (2017-18, 2021-22). In his 77 career games (68 starts), he has a record of 23-33-14 and a save rate of .906 with an ERA of 3.10.
