Targets in LaSalle, St-Laurent are raided by Quebec's anti-gang task force

The operation is part of an investigation that began last October and includes a SWAT team and canine unit.

Raids were being carried out Thursday morning in the Montreal boroughs of LaSalle and St-Laurent by members of ENRCO, an anti-gang police task force that includes the Sûreté du Québec and the Montreal police department.

The operation is part of an investigation that began last October and includes a SWAT team and canine unit.

ENRCO’s operations target the heads of organized crime, such as the Hells Angels, and investigates unsolved murders committed in that milieu.

The task force also includes members of the police forces of Laval and Longueuil, as well as the Ontario Provincial Police and the Canadian Border Services Agency.
