Bolingbrook, Illinois (AP) — A temporary worker was charged with shooting in a car interior goods warehouse on the outskirts of Chicago, killing a colleague and injuring two others, officials said.

Charles Mack Knight, Jr., 27, was charged with one murder on Sunday and ordered to be detained on $ 5 million in public debt in an attempt to murder one.

On Monday, it was unclear if there was a lawyer at McKnight, and prison records did not list his lawyer.

Bolingbrook Police Chief Mike Ronpa said Saturday at 6:25 am, an employee at the Weather Tech facility in Bolingbrook struck a gun and robbed two employees of a watch and a wallet. He said he accused him. That led to controversy, followed by shootings, Ronpa said.

McKnight was arrested near his home about three hours later, and officials said guns and allegedly stolen items had been recovered.

Central High Tower, 37, died after the shooting. A 25-year-old man was last listed by authorities in a critical condition at the hospital on Saturday, while a 43-year-old man was treated and released at the hospital.

According to Ronpa, McKnight began working at Weathertech on June 9th through a temporary recruiter.
