``I have created a very good preparation block for the US Open series. I feel ready, I'm really happy with the Los Cabos title."

He and other Russian players will be allowed to compete at Flushing Meadows this year, but Players will play in a neutral position. Russia calls its actions in Ukraine a "special military operation".

Medvedev said he didn't care about the neutral flag.

"No, not much, to be honest. Playing tennis is important to me. I really enjoy what I do. Well, again, it's the rules."
