DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Writer Wil Haygood, author of several nonfiction books chronicling 20th-century black American life, including "The Butler," has won a prestigious book award. did.
The Dayton Literature and Peace Prize announced Wednesday that Mr. Haygood, from Columbus, Ohio, will receive the Richard C. Holbrook Lifetime Achievement Award.
