Canada, once more serious, more liberal, less obsessed with guilt and identity politics, has fallen. I will not grieve over what happened. Just for grumpy old Foggy. Lydia Perovic came here from her hometown, which was torn apart by ethnic conflicts in the 1990s. She was enamored with her ideals shared by this nation and her agnosticism of lineage and race. But as Perovich tells Fury in this week's episode, progressive media and cultural pundits are deconstructing much of what attracted her. Perovic, author of her new book Lost in Canada: An Immigrant's Second Thoughts, has a warning to all Canadians old and new. (Recorded June 9, 2022)
