The Minnesota Twins put right-handed Joe Smith on Sunday's 15-day injured list, straining the upper trapezius muscles.
Smith, 38, is 1-1 and has recorded 2.78 ERA in 28 relief appearances in the Twins this season. His designation dates back to Friday.
He is the New York Mets, then Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Twins.
Also on Sunday, the Twins recalled left-handed Jobani Moran from Triple A St. Paul.
Moran, 25, registered 1.74 ERA with one save in eight rescue appearances this season in Minnesota.
