Out of a burning car outside Summerland he 2 A human body was found.
The Summerland RCMP was called to the scene on Garnet Valley Road Saturday morning. After the Summerland Fire Department extinguished the vehicle and found a body.
The Southeast District Serious Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
SED MCU is working with the services of Summerland Detachment, Penticton Regional Detachment and BC Coroner to determine the cause of death.
No details regarding casualties or vehicles have been released.
Police are asking anyone who has a recording of Dash's cam or who may have noticed suspicious activity around Garnett Valley Road early Saturday morning to contact them.
