Two were sent to the hospital and one was detained after being shot at Williams Lake Stampede.

On Sunday afternoon, after a massive shooting on the Stampede Ground of Lake Williams, one was detained and two were sent to the hospital.

According to the RCMP, police responded to reports of shootings in the Stampede Ground at 800 blocks on Mackenzie Avenue South.

"Two people with unspecified injuries have been taken to a local hospital and one suspect has been detained," Sgt said. Krisklark said.

"Preliminary information suggests that this incident was targeted and that no further risk generally remains."
