Waterloo police charge driver after horse-drawn carriage collides in Woorwich Township

Waterloo Regional Police have formally charged a 20-year-old man in connection with a fatal horse and carriage crash in Woolwich Township.

On the night of October 24, 2021, one vehicle was traveling on his Route 86 when a carriage and carriage collided on Side Road 16.

Buggy was ejected as a result.

A 76-year-old man died and a 79-year-old woman was seriously injured.
