The second stabbing victim was treated in hospital and released
Toronto Police have charged a man with first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a stranger on a TTC train.
Police allege the 52-year-old man stabbed two women on a subway train on Thursday afternoon at High Park Station.

One of the women — identified by police as 31-year-old Vanessa Kurpiewska — died in hospital while the other, a 37-year-old, has since been released.
Police say the man and the women did not know each other.
Officers found the man at the station around 2 p.m. and arrested him.
Neng Jia Jin, 52, of Toronto, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. He is to appear in Old City Hall court Friday morning.
