Covid checks intensify, 84 fined

Eighty four individuals and two citizens were charged with violating relevant covid protocols over the past 24 hours as more than 6 thousand checks were conducted island wide.

In Nicosia, 16 people were fined out of 1.318 checks, while Limassol saw the highest number with 41 citizens charged, in addition to one business, following 1.240 checks.

Larnaca saw 5 people being fined out of 1.054 checks, while in Paphos police reported 14 citizens one business for covid violations, after 828 checks.

7 people were fined in Famagusta out of 695 checks, while there were no violations in the Morphou district out of 563 checks.
