The Electricity Authority of Cyprus on Thursday announced that due to technical problems of their new consumption meter system some bills that have been sent out are extremely high.
And it called on consumers who believe their bills may be wrong to contact the Authority through the following ways:
Send an e-mail that will include the first name and surname of the client as well as their contact phone number.
It should also include the meter reading ignoring the decimal digit(s) at the end and meter number e.g. The indication is: 071062
Send a Photo via Viber including:
Photo of the meter showing the consumption reading and the meter number
- Customer name and mobile phone number in the “Add Description” field
Send a Photo via WHATSAPP including:
- Photo of the meter showing the consumption indicator and the meter number
- Customer name and mobile phone number in the “Add a Caption” field
