A homeless hostel has been handed a second zero food hygiene rating in just six months.
Dock House, which is run by Humbercare, was visited by Hull City Council environmental health inspectors on February 21 this year.
But Humbercare insists action was taken straight away to deal with all the issues raised and will once again ask for a re-score as soon as possible
A spokesman for the organisation said: “We are extremely disappointed with the outcome of the inspection and that the issues around performance and practice have immediately been addressed and will be closely monitored and managed.

"The organisation is in the process of applying for a rescore."
After the last inspection in August last year Humbercare said the hostel, in St Peter Street, in the city centre, had made improvements.
But after the second failure in such a short space of time, Hull Live understands the council is "concerned" by the poor standards, although the authority has declined to comment at this stage.
