Anthony Joshua's new coach admits training camp wasn't perfect...but Britt claims he's reached 'peak' of Usyk redemption

ANTHONY JOSHUA's new trainer admits for the first time that his preparation is far from perfect.

Sincerity Robert Garcia has replaced Team GB mastermind Robert McCracken in his AJ's unmissable World Heavyweight Title rematch tomorrow night against Oleksandr Usik.

Former Super Featherweight World Champion American Garcia is looking to see 14 fighters claim their own world titles.

And now he leads Joshua's Jeddah mission to recover his WBA, IBF and WBO straps that he lost to Usik.

One of his most positive signs is Garcia's honest judgment that training his camp at Loughborough hasn't always been smooth sailing.

Garcia, 47, said of his AJ:

``We peaked at the right time. There are no camps. There were a few days when we had to work on something, but he listened, fixed things and now he has to do it in the ring."

20} Strangely, Joshua, 32, has refused to publicly name Garcia as his head coach.

Said the Watford man. We don't talk much about having a head coach because we don't have an ego on our team. we are only here to work.

Hopefully one of the coaches will be an entry into AJ's supposed list of 13 strong left-arm sparring partners.

A member of Usyk's team told Sunsports that the beast the champions face in training is a different league than the group Joshua's team brought in to imitate Ukrainian southpaws.

There was also a distinct lack of recognizable names in the list of amateurs who thanked AJ for imitating Usyk's maverick moves on Wednesday.

Joshua said11 months ago in their first face-off at his Hotspur Stadium in Tottenham, 's decision to try to outbox Usyk was all about him. I admit that it was my decision.

The Ukrainian prodigy, his Olympic champion and winner of 335 of 350 amateur fights, beat the British in points.

Thankfully, Garcia keeps Usiku at a gym in California. And he knows that the only way to end his perfect record of 19 victories as a Cossack Warrior professional is to knock him out for the first time.

The whole boxing world knows Anthony can't outbox Usyk

Garcia: "The whole boxing world knows he can't outbox Usyk, so we have to put sensible pressure on him.

"Usik is a very talented fighter and his combination has a great jab, a great straight right arm, a right hand to the body, etc.

"It's not a boxing training, it's an upcoming fight. But we're also not going to be brawlers. Suggesting that he is nothing like the industrious sponge he claims to be.

Garcia claims his man is no fool—and he says that if AJ combines his brains and brawn right, even Usyk will go down.

} An American said of Joshua:

``But after spending a few months with him, you realize how smart, dedicated, and talented he is. Prepare to inflict mental and physical damage and he will be unstoppable."
