BREAKING: British father found dead after jumping into Italian lake to save his son

The body of an English man who jumped into an Italian lake to save his son has been found.

Alan Chada, 51, dived into Lake Garda to try to save his 14-year-old son Roman after he got stuck in the water.

The family was enjoying a vacation with Alan's partner Holly Mosley, 39, and his daughter Floren, 7.

Alan succeeded in saving his son, but got into trouble and slipped under the water shortly after July 22nd.

Chada was discovered by experts about 800 meters from the shore of Lake Gala. A diving team with a depth of about 316 meters. His body was returned to shore by the Coast Guard.

Coast Guard Commander Antonio Lagadere told his MailOnline: When he saw his son getting into trouble, he had the courage to jump into the lake and was able to do so. , the water was about 10 degrees colder...the heat shock could have caused the seizure."
