Cameron Norrie issues a bullish warning to Novak Djokovic prior to the Wimbledon semifinals

Cameron Norrie told Novak Djokovic that he was looking forward to "taking it" after dramatically booking his place in the Wimbledon semifinals.

On Friday, the British will face six champions on the Center Court after winning five sets of thrilling victories against David Goffin in front of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duchess.

Djokovic hasn't lost a match at the All England Club since 2017, but 26-year-old Norrie is bullish on the possibility of reaching the final on Sunday, causing great confusion.

After winning 3-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 on the first court, Norrie said: He is looking forward to the challenge. I think I'll bring it to him.

"The last time I played him, he played very well. I think I learned a lot from that. Take a slightly different tactical approach. I think I'm going. "

And Norrie thinks he can beat him?

"Sure," he said. "I'm looking forward to taking it to him and seeing the levels he brings."

But most of the three and a half hour contests with unseeded Goffin struggled. After doing so, Norrie knows that he needs to step up his match against Djokovic, who is aiming for his 21st Grand Slam victory.

He states: I don't think he can lose focus, as he did for David. I think he was a little lucky.

He smiled: "I didn't notice during the match, but since I saw them at the end, it's obviously very special to play in front of them."

Norrie and Djokovic met only once and easily topped the 20 Grand Slam champions at last year's ATP Finals.

And the Serbs say: It's a big deal for him. But I'm familiar with his game, so I do my homework and get ready.
