Carol Vorderman vowed to cause as much mischief as possible as she appeared on This Morning to speak about ageism.
Carol, 58, has been grabbing headlines recently for her stunning curves which she puts down to a combination of HRT and hiking.
But mum-of-two said that even 20-years-ago people were calling her "mutton dressed as lamb."
She spoke to Eamonn and Ruth about the blue dress she wore to the Bafta's when she was 39.
She said: "20 years ago I wore a blue dress over the knee and people called me mutton dressed as lamb.
"Those remarks belong to the last century, you shouldn't say that anymore.
"It's about the spirit of someone, has my attitude ever changed - no - will it ever change? - no."
Carol said she had always been healthy and loved hiking around the hills near her home - which helps her maintain her enviable frame.
Eamonn and Ruth asked Carol how she felt about the recent articles about her figure and dealing with trolls and she said she just "mutes" the haters and carries on with her day.
Speaking about being in her fifties Carol denied she was an inspiration and said: "My fifties have been the best decade for me - I feel fantastic, it's the best decade I've had through my life, I feel freer than ever before.
"In my sixties I would like to do my flight around the world solo and to cause as much mischief as possible really."
And viewers took to social media to point out how great Carol was looking.
Ross said: "Carol Vorderman just gets better with age."
