Christine McGuinness breaks silence on kiss with best friend Chelcee Grimes as she reveals ‘nightmare’ scenario

CHRISTINE McGuinness has broken her silence after her kiss with BFF Chelcee Grimes and opened up on a festive "nightmare."

The model mum of three, 34, shared a warm embrace with the former footballer, 30, during a super-Christmassy visit to Winter Wonderland in London last week.

Just days later, after Chelcee has taken to Instagram to talk of a "spark", Christine's ex husband Paddy, 49, was spotted looking serious in his silver van.

With the Real Housewives of Cheshire star now back home at her lavish £2.1million mansion, her thoughts are focussed on the festive season.

Wearing a white Zara logo jumper, Christine took to her Instagram Stories and greeted her fans.

She said: "Just getting ready to put the Christmas tree up with the kids and this memory came back of when I was little.

"My mum had always been like 'we can put the tree up kids' then none of the lights would work so we couldn't decorate it.

"And I thought 'Oh God if this happens today it's going to be a nightmare.'"

Christine split from presenter husband Paddy, 49, earlier this year.

They broke up this summer after 15 years together and told how it had been a "difficult decision."

In a joint statement signed off with a kiss, the pair said they aimed to be the "best parents they could be" as well as vowing to co-parent in the same household.

They are still living together in their family home in Manchester with their brood.

As such, Christine was enlisting the help of her kids to decorate for the upcoming holiday season.

She later captured a snap of her two eldest standing on ladders as she revealed: "Two out of three of my festive helpers are ready."

Christine and Paddy co-parent Leo and Penelope, their twins born in 2013, who were diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum at the age of four.

Their other daughter Felicity was born in 2016, and she too was diagnosed with the disorder.

Christine has previously opened up on how Christmas is a "difficult" time for the family because of the huge changes to the status quo, which the youngsters struggle to cope with.

She told how, as such, the kids tuck into their familiar fish fingers and chips after Father Christmas' arrival.

Candid Christine wrote on her page: "Because autism doesn’t stop for Christmas day! They like what they like and I want my children to eat so I choose my battles and I don’t want one today!

"For anyone who may not understand this, food aversion can be quite common for those with autism.

"This isn’t lazy parenting or fussy children, this is sensory issues due to their condition that limits what our children eat. I am delighted they are very slowly exploring new textures."
