Police launched an emergency investigation that a woman was forced into the back seat of a car after arguing with a man

COPS An urgent investigation was launched after a woman was "shoved into the back of a car" shortly after she was seen arguing with a man. was pushed into a small silver car by a man.

Witnesses say they saw the two arguing near the Dog and Partridge pub in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, shortly before the incident.

Detective Superintendent Richard Hunt of our Tameside District said: they were watching

"We are moving as quickly as possible to confirm who the pair are and where they may be, and to make sure they are safe and healthy. If this seems like you please get in touch and I know you'll be fine.

"I know the images I've been able to publish so far are not of ideal quality, but personally , or someone who may have witnessed them last night, I hope they can recognize them. Massive trolling continues, and as we have more information and images to further support our appeal, we will ask the public for their valuable help."
