The ITV soap kept hidden what might have been wrong with Phill, but it turns out he knows nothing about Fiz's past.

John Stape, Fiz's former serial hiller husband and her standing trial as his accomplice will all be news for Phill.

Jennie thinks there is a future for Fiz and Tyrone. Speaking about Fiz, she said: "The shine has definitely been knocked off, but she doesn’t want to be on her own.

"[Fiz] would go back in a heartbeat” if she can forgive his affair with Alina Pop.

  • Carter family reunited!

    Former EastEnders star Sam Strike shared an image of him reuniting with TV family The Carters.

    Sam played Johnny Carter in 2013 and 2014, the son of Mick and Linda (Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright).

    The three of them posed with Maddy Hill, who played his on-screen sister, sandwiched between them.

    The caption read: "Always fam."

    While we aren't sure when Sam will return to Albert Square, we hope the time will come soon!

  • Coronation street writer and TV legend dies at 71

    Kay Mellor, the TV writer behind hit shows Fat Friends, The Syndicate and Band of Gold, has died at the age of 71.

    Mellor also worked on Coronation Street and created the award-winning children's drama Children's Ward.

    She is survived by her husband, daughters TV presenter Yvonne and actress Gaynor Faye, and her four grandchildren.

    A spokesperson for her TV production company, Rollem Productions, said: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely and sudden passing of our beloved friend, mentor and colleague Kay Mellor on Sunday 15th May.

    "We have lost a phenomenal talent and a true luminary. We ask that you please respect the privacy of the family and friends at this time."

  • EastEnders: Ben Mitchell’s rape ordeal revealed

    What is lesser known about the 24-year-old actor is that he was actually diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2017 when he was only 19. After finding a lump he was referred to his local hospital for tests.

    He believed there might not be a chance he would make it, but after having an operation to remove the tumour and having rigorous chemo, he is much better.

    Jack joined Corrie in 2021 as Jacob Hay, and has since become an audience favourite for his devilish antics, and redeemed behaviour since falling for Amy Barlow.

    The actress - who plays Nita Desai in the ITV soap - revealed she had been sleeping off the "exhaustion" after the sporting show.

    Rebecca, 47, could be seen lying face-down in her bed with her perky behind sticking out after falling fast asleep.

    The candid shot, shared with her Instagram fans, taken at home saw her wearing just a t-shirt and polka-dotted pants.

    "Out like a light," she wrote in the caption, calling The Games an "amazing experience" despite being left "exhausted".

    "Highs, lows, exhaustion, exhilaration, but all's well that ends well. Thank you," she concluded of her time on the programme.
