Cuddly capybaras are the new kings of cute as they pose with their animal pals

CAPY DAYS

MOVE over, meerkats, there’s a new king of cute in the animal world – the cuddly capybara. The largest rodent in the world – and the friendliest too – lives in South America and looks like an overgrown guinea pig.

Now the internet is full of pictures of loveable capybaras doing what they enjoy best – making new animal pals, from ponies to crocodiles.  Here, Emily Fairbairn shows how the capy is nature’s friendliest chappie – bara none.
