Manchester City are favourites to sign three players in the January transfer window, according to the bookmakers.
Frenkie De Jong has been linked with a move to City for some time, and although Barcelona are reported to be ahead in the race to sign the Dutchman, the odds suggest a closer battle.
City and Barca are joint 8/1 favourites to sign De Jong if he was to leave Ajax, although the 21-year-old is odds-on to remain in Amsterdam in the current transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain are priced at 12/1 by SkyBet.
Should a move for De Jong fail to materialise, City could shift their attentions to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Portuguese youngster has settled well into the Premier League, and Pep Guardiola is said to be an admirer of his abilities.
City are 8/1 favourites to sign him this month, but he is 1/20 to remain at Molineux.
Another potential signing is Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele, with City 8/1 favourites to sign the Frenchman, closely followed by Arsenal and Liverpool.
Dembele has not been mentioned with City as much as other names, but the bookies clearly feel the club could make a move should be become available.
Other names linked with City are Isco (12/1), Matthijs De Ligt (20/1), Eden Hazard (20/1), and Denis Suarez (25/1).
Outside bets would be Mo Salah (25/1), who is 1/50 to remain at Liverpool, and Wilfried Zaha at 50/1.
In terms of players leaving City, Brahim Diaz is 1/8 to join Real Madrid this month compared to 9/2 to remain a City player, while Phil Foden is a worrying 8/1 to leave.
However, youngster Foden is 1/20 to stay and the market includes loan moves away. Juventus are 14/1 favourites to sign him.
