A representative has confirmed that Bruce Montague has died at the age of 83.

The late actor was best known for his role of Leonard Dunn on the sitcom Butterfly, but has been in over 300 productions throughout his impressive career. In 2000, he made his Doctor Who Who audio his adventure The Genocide Machine and made his first appearance the following year in the story His Sword of Orion co-starring with Paul His McGann.
Later in his acting career, Bruce enjoyed a brief stint on Channel 4's Soap His Hollyoaks, and in 2015 Derek He played a guest role in Clough. In 2013 he co-starred with Nicholas Lyndhurst in an episode of The New Tricks, and in 2019 he shared the screen with Wendy Craig when he appeared on the BBC show Doctors.
