Borussia Dortmund have announced the signing of forward Anthony Modesto.
Modeste will join after agreeing to his one-year deal with theBlack and Yellows.
This 34-year-old player has been called up as an emergency replacement for Sebastian Haller, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer this summer.
Haller joined the club from Ajax for his £27 million transfer fee.
However, following his diagnosisthe German club had to find a replacement.
Dortmund said in a statement posted on the club's website: 22} "His 34-year-old French player, who transfers from FC Cologne, completed his medical examination today in Dortmund and signed his one-year contract in the evening."

Modeste contributed 99 goals in 189 games in the Bundesliga. In 2012, he played for the Blackburn Rovers, making nine appearances.
Cologne are set to receive just over £4.2 million from the transfer fee.
But head coach Steffen Baumgart said Modesto has scored 20 goals in 32 games and is "unwell" after losing the team's top scorer last season.
