Elon Musk mocked after moaning about Apple while using an iPhone

The Tesla CEO took to his social media platform after alleging that they threatened to remove Twitter from their App Store.

He didn't stop there as he also accused the tech company of hating free speech and spoke on Apple's "secret 30% tax" that they put on the App Store.

There were many Twitter users who saw the funny side of Musk's gaffe

Musk's mistake was pointed out after every tweet he sent was accompanied by the words "Twitter for iPhone."

One user comically said: "Elon Musk hates Apple so much he's been tweeting about the company all day FROM HIS IPHONE."

Another user commented: "Sir, this is an iPhone," a playful twist on the iconic Twitter meme, "Sir, this is a Wendy's."

"Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate free speech in America?" he wrote as he added, "What's going on here Tim Cook?"

"Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won't tell us why," Musk continued.

He followed that up with saying "Apple puts a secret 30% tax on everything you buy through their App Store."
