EMELI Sande is dating a rapper from the Congo called Jonathan Kabamba, three years after her last romance ended.

The singer, 33, went public with her new relationship on Instagram this morning sharing a snap of them sat together on the end of a bed in Grosvenor House Hotel.

She captioned it: "My Love, my King. Thank you for all the light, strength and joy you have brought into my life. I feel capable of anything with you by my side."

It is not known how long the pair have been dating, but Jonathan, 30, shared identical photos of them last week.

Emeli's last relationship was with musician Hypo, who she dated for a year following her split from husband Adam Gouraguine.

She was with scientist Adam for seven years and married for one before they split so she could focus on her music.

Her new beau Jonathan, who raps under the name Rychus Ryter, has also shared several photos of the pair together.

He is also a keen charity worker and previously opened a community centre in Chadwell Heath, north London in a bid to tackle gang violence.

However, the company folded in February this year after opening in 2018.

Jonathan has been open about his difficult past and strives to help others.

He said: “I come from a rough background where I was always in trouble, but now I have got the right people behind me and I’m trying make other people feel positive about their future.

“I have a friend who has been in jail and I have put him in the recording studio to try and help him stay on the right path.”
