EVERTON have taken a major injury blow as defender Ben Godfrey has been sidelined for three months following a horrific injury against Chelsea.
Godfrey broke his leg in the 10th minute as he lost 1-0 to Evertonin the Premier League.
The 24-year-old ended up worse after a challenge withKai his Havertz.
Everton said: "Ben Godfrey had successful surgery on his fractured fibula this morning
"
Everton also without a striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin for six weeks.
Striker suffered injury the night before
Boss Frank Lampard said:
"I think it will probably take him six weeks or so for the injury to heal."
