An armed man reportedly attempted to enter the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) building in Cincinnati, Ohio early Thursday morning and exchanged gunfire with police.
The FBI called this a "major incident."
"Around 9:00 am this morning, an armed individual attempted to break into the FBI Cincinnati Visitor Screening Facility,"he tweeted the FBI field office.. "After alarm and response by his FBI Special Agents, subject fled onto Interstate 71."

Authorities have imposed a lockdown on all buildings within a one-mile radius of Smith Road and Center Road and advised businesses and residents to lock their doors.
The suspect's details and motives were not immediately clear.
Ohio Highway Patrol officers are tracking a suspect who drove his Victoria in a white Ford Crown to his FBI building, ABC News reported. The chase continued on Interstate 71, where the suspect exited near Wilmington.
